Here’s another Easter/spring folk song from my childhood that took me forever to recover. I couldn’t find a video that has the music, so I’ll keep on the look out for one. So make up your own tune, or just read it and chuckle.

Starch Painting Easter Eggs

Here’s another fun craft we did this week: we painted tissue paper squares on to paper Easter eggs. Just mix starch with water and apply it over the pieces of tissue paper. Then hang them up to dry. Easy as that! Happy Easter!

Flying Bunny Craft

My friend Carol tried this with our kinders today and they loved it! We went to the top of the play structure and tried to get our bunnies to fly to different spots on the ground. Super easy craft for kindergarten or preschool… probably would also be fun for first or second grade as well. I mean, come on… who wouldn’t enjoy making a flying bunny rabbit!? Happy Easter!

Flower Paragraph Planner/Graphic Organizer

Here’s a paragraph writing planner that will help your students understand the parts of a paragraph. After they fill in the flower side, have them write their rough draft paragraph using the provided lines. Often I find lots of cute graphic organizers for kids, but kids don’t quite understand how to go from the cute picture to a paragraph of sentences. So this one’s very simple: plan and then write downs the ideas on the flower (from the top to the bottom) and they’ll have a complete paragraph. I’ve made many simple addition worksheets (sums up to 10), but I don’t know that I’ve done a worksheet with sums up to 20. So here it is… a spring-inspired addition worksheet just for you. I usually try to make them using only black and white, but I couldn’t help it on this one. Enjoy!
